In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Harbor House has released several new videos bringing awareness to the fact that domestic abuse affects everyone.  Our wish is for as many people as possible to see these videos and help us spread the word via social media! 

Links to our Facebook, Twitter and Youtube pages can be found on our homepage, but here are some quick tips to get involved with Harbor House’s social media sites:

Facebook:

1.  Log into your Facebook account

2. Search for Harbor House of Central Florida and open our page

3.  “Like” us on Facebook.

We have posted all of the videos on Facebook.  Copy and paste the links to the videos, or “Share” what we already have written.  Once your friends have watched the videos, encourage them to pass on the message.

Twitter:

1.  Log into your Twitter account

2. Search for harborhousefl and “follow” us

3. Retweet the video links we already have posted

For advanced Twitter users, remember to use hashtags such as #dvam, #vaw or #dv and to use @harborhousefl in the post if possible.

Email:

Not a social media user?  That’s ok!  If you’d like to share the videos via email, go to www.harborhousefl.com and click on “Video Center” on the right side of the homepage.  All of the videos are here and you can email the link to the page out. 

We need everyone’s help to spread the word and get the videos out!  We’ve already had a great response, but our wish for Domestic Violence Awareness Month is to actually spread awareness and have a true impact in honor of domestic abuse survivors everywhere.  Thank you Harbor House supporters!
