We are thrilled to present the 37th Annual Purple Door Luncheon!

This year’s event will be hosted at

SeaWorld Ports of Call
Friday, October 11th, 2013
Noon – 1:00 pm

Co-chairs Sara Brady and Jill Schwartz.

Tickets for individuals are $75. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

This year we are privileged to have Sharon Love as our guest speaker!

Sharon Love co-founded the One Love Foundations, with her daughter Lexi, to raise awareness about relationship violence after the tragic death of her daughter, Yeardley Love. The University of Virginia student and lacrosse player was murdered by her ex-boyfriend two weeks before her graduation, drawing national attention to her story and the issue. Sharon Love is committed to ending relationship violence through education and technology and honoring her daughter’s spirit.

Harbor House and the One Love Foundation share a common vision. Last year, Harbor House opened the door to a new beginning for more than 10,000 survivors. From 24-hour crisis support, safety planning, and emergency shelter to counseling, legal advocacy and child care, Harbor House creates a pathway to safety and justice. All of these services are provided at no cost to the survivors.

By attending the 37th Annual Purple Door Luncheon, you will have a direct impact on breaking the cycle of domestic abuse that has impacted families for generations. Thank you for partnering with us to save a life today and helping us open doors to a better future tomorrow.
