BE A COMMUNITY WORKGROUP

HOST A SPECIAL OR WORKDAY AT THE SHELTER WITH YOUR COMPANY, RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION, CIVIC GROUP, SCHOOL, ASSOCIATION OR FRIENDS.

THE PROCESS

1. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator with your Community work project or for ideas.
2. Complete a Volunteer Group form.
3. Provide us with list of those attending and signed confidentiality statements
4. Schedule your day.
5. Come and host your event, making a positive impact on the domestic violence survivors at the shelter.

OPPORTUNITIES

Paint and refurbish the common areas or resident rooms.

Landscape and maintain the grounds of the shelter.

Provide a hot meal for the survivors and their families.

Provide activities for the children such as arts and crafts or water fun days.

Wash windows and assist with minor maintenance repairs.
