CELEBRITIES COME TOGETHER TO GOLF AT THE REUNION RESORT IN
ORLANDO, FLORIDA TO BENFEFIT FIVE CHILDREN’S CHARITIES
Beverly Hills, CA (September 15, 2009) – Kids Rock Events, LLC announces its 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Invitational to support non-profits that serve children. Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump, Tom Arnold, Nick Lachey, Alan and Robin Thicke, Brian Baumgartner (NBC’s “The Office”) and Charles Barkley represent a few of the celebrities confirmed to play at the Reunion Resort in Orlando, Florida on November 11th through the 15th.
Celebrities will join registered players for five days of golf and entertainment to raise money for The Ronald McDonald House, Wounded Warrior Project, Autism Speaks, Harbor House of Central Florida and the Arnold Palmer Hospital. Jim Belushi and The Sacred Hearts headline the many musical acts scheduled to perform throughout the event which kicks off with a celebrity cocktail reception followed by a Casablanca party and ‘80s Night. Bleach Works, the new Christian Burns band from BB MAK, Suzie McNeil and Tupelo Honey are also scheduled to perform. Kids Rock Events Founder and CEO, Andy Buckner, will host the weekend he launched three years ago after he was touched by cancer.
“The money generated last year brought much joy to the lives of sick children,” says Buckner. “Kids confined to hospitals need to horseback ride and jump on trampolines like everyone else their age. It may not seem like much, but events like these make a big difference in the quality of their lives. Children can feel like children.”
Registration is still open to the public at http://www.krcigolf.com
