A project to end domestic violence in community, in partnership, with courage.

In February 2010 Harbor House of Central Florida was awarded a grant from the 100 Women Strong Fund of the Community Foundation of Central Florida, Inc. to establish an evidence-based social change pilot project in a defined community in Orange County. Harbor House will serve as the lead organization in a multi-year initiative that offers the identified community the opportunity to actively engage in ending abuse at every level of society in a sustainable manner.

Beginning in the summer of 2009, representatives from both organizations began discussions on shared goals, expectations, measurements, timelines and budgets for this “partnership grant-making” initiative. Harbor House received the green light to begin implementing the initiative in March 2010.
