Find out how you can get involved with Harbor House and support a survivor of domestic abuse.
Are you concerned that someone you love is experiencing abuse? Are you unsure how to support them?
We understand how difficult it can be when a friend or family member is in an abusive relationship. As Orange County’s state-certified domestic violence center, we are here to help you.
Harbor House offers online support groups and in-person workshops with experienced advocates. Classes cover information about signs of domestic violence, safety planning, empowerment, and local resources for survivors in Central Florida.
The online support group will meet via Zoom for an hour every other Tuesday at 6:30pm from September 7 through December 14. Sign up for free here. You will receive an email with the Zoom link prior to the meeting. You do not have to attend every meeting.
The next in-person workshop, Checking In: Domestic Violence Education & Resources for Friends & Family, begins October 21 and meets for five consecutive weeks from 6:30pm to 8pm. The class meets at our Central Outreach office located at 708 E. Colonial Drive, Suite 202 in Orlando. Free parking is available in the lot behind the building. Snacks will be provided.
Registration is free, but space is limited. Please follow the registration link below to sign up and reserve your spot. For more information, please contact us at email@example.com
