The Development Coordinator assists the Development Department by overseeing the flow of work on all development projects, events and collateral materials from concept to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree preferably in Business, Community/Public Relations, Marketing or related field. 1 + year experience in general office/business setting is also required. Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the Chief Executive Officer’s discretion.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and customer service skills. Knowledge of creative and production functions is required. Data Entry, writing skills, strong computer and communication skills and clean driving record required. Must attend a 3 day training in order to become CORE certified prior to working with survivors.
Harbor House is seeking a highly skilled professional to support Harbor House of Central Florida’s mission by developing, analyzing, and improving internal and external marketing strategies and initiatives. Builds awareness and interest in Harbor House of Central Florida with our events, partners, donors and volunteers. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and managing marketing strategies and initiatives that help build Harbor House of Central Florida brand in the community
The position requires an undergraduate degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or Communications. 5-7 years’ marketing experience preferred. Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of marketing strategies, tools, and marketing plan development, including ability to create new marketing programs; have PC experience with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and databases. Additionally this individual will possess the ability to conduct marketing research and analyze data. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing atmosphere with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly prioritize work to meet assignments with tight deadlines. Well organized, motivated and show a demonstrated success of producing outstanding copy and achieving placement. They will possess expert grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills; strong written and oral communication skills to conceptualize, structure, and write compelling copy transforming complex information into clear, engaging content.
Online Giving Coordinator
Harbor House is seeking an experienced, dynamic individual to develop and maintain the agency’s online presence and fundraising activities. Designs agency marketing materials, develops and supports all marketing activities including promotions, email marketing and special events.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in in Advertising/PR, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience (at least two years in a full-time social media position) required. Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.
This position requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and best practices; proficiency in Word Press, Constant Contact, Photoshop, Adobe, Microsoft Office applications, and other design programs; knowledge of multiple content management systems and professional printing and pre-press processes. The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to organize and write reports and business correspondence, effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, volunteers and the general public. This individual will have the ability to prioritize tasks and utilize time and resources effectively.
