Weekend Shelter Manager
This position oversees the weekend operations an 110 bed emergency and transitional housing domestic violence shelter that is operated 24 hours a day that provides services to women, men and children. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of management experience with programmatic oversight, grant reporting and compliance, scheduling, budget development and risk management. A strong understanding of trauma, victimization and effects of domestic violence on both adults and children from diverse populations is critical. Excellent computer skills and clean driving record required. Must attend a 3 day training in order to become CORE certified prior to working with survivors.

Community Education & Training Coordinator
This position is responsible for the development, implementation and provision of comprehensive community education awareness programs to individuals, professionals and the business community in their efforts to increase their capacity regarding domestic abuse policies and recognizing and responding to abuse, and referring survivors to assistance programs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Social Service field, Public or Community Relations required with 3-5 years experience in the development, facilitation and presentation of training programs and public speaking . The successful candidate must possess extensive knowledge of adult learning theories and appropriate use of a variety of training methods. Preferred: Specialized degree in Training and Development or other relevant field (i.e. Education). Extensive knowledge and experience in the Domestic Violence field.Professional or non-professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.This position requires strong public speaking and presentation skills. Knowledge of training/education techniques required. The ideal candidate will possess strong motivation, initiative, attention to detail, and a friendly and customer focused attitude. Intermediate to advanced computer skills are required.
