Marketing Communications Coordinator
Harbor House is seeking a highly skilled professional to support Harbor House of Central Florida’s mission by developing, analyzing, and improving internal and external marketing strategies and initiatives. Creates content that builds awareness and interest in Harbor House of Central Florida with our events, partners, donors and volunteers. Manages and implements marketing strategies and initiatives that help build Harbor House of Central Florida’s brand in the community
The position requires an undergraduate degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or Communications. 5-7 years’ marketing experience preferred. Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of marketing strategies, tools, and marketing plan development, including ability to create new marketing programs; have PC experience with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and databases. They will demonstrate good leadership and managerial competencies, including integrity, accountability, communications skills, and commitment to teamwork. Additionally this individual will possess the ability to conduct marketing research and analyze data. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing atmosphere with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly prioritize work to meet assignments with tight deadlines. Well organized, motivated and show a demonstrated success of producing outstanding copy and achieving placement. They will possess expert grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills; strong written and oral communication skills to conceptualize, structure, and write compelling copy transforming complex information into clear, engaging content.
Corporate Relations Manager
Harbor House is seeking a highly skilled professional to establish, maintain, and deepen relationships with current and prospective donors in an effort to maximize financial donations and help support the mission of Harbor House of Central Florida. Position acts as lead for corporate sponsorships for all events.
The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree in Social Services field, Community or Public Relations.The position requires a minimum of 1 year public speaking experience, excellent computer and written communication skills, and proven success with B 2 B sales. Shelter Services Advocate
2 shifts available
- Saturday-Thursday 7 am – 3:30 pm Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Tuesday-Saturday 3 pm – 11:30 pm
Harbor House is seeking an experienced, dynamic individual to provide advocacy, support, crisis intervention, safety planning and lethality assessments to survivors of domestic violence residing in the emergency shelter.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field. The position requires a minimum of one year of case management experience preferably in a domestic violence program, knowledge of case management skills, the ability to provide effective and immediate crisis intervention for clients, and to facilitate support groups. Basic to intermediate computer skills are required. Must read, write and speak fluently in both English and Spanish. Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.
